                                    Flight Preparation Check List

The "Flight Preparation Check List" is to be performed before each day of flight training and for 
each aircraft that will be flown by the Training Pilot. Review the Check List items together and sign off to confirm
each is in working order before the training session begins.

Once the "Flight Preparation Check List" has been signed off by both Pilots you are ready to 
begin the flight training session for the day. Discuss and write out a brief description of what you plan to work on 
during each flight training session. Note it on the back of this page under "Flight Plan". i.e. "Left hand pattern, 
Right hand pattern, Figure 8, Landing approaches, Landings, Take offs etc etc. Once each flight is over 
review the flight plan and note how the flight went under "Flight Debriefing" i.e. Student did well, Student did OK,
Student needs more practice etc etc.

                                             Preflight Check List
Test Battery Voltage.
Ready aircraft for the training flight.
Test controls for proper movement from Master Transmitter and then the Trainer Transmitter
Check that the control surfaces "do not" move (twitch) when the trainer switch is activated
Review the flight plan
Announce to the Flight Line "TAXI OUT" and proceed to runway for takeoff when clear.
Announce to the Flight Line "TAKING OFF LEFT TO RIGHT" or "TAKING OFF RIGHT TO LEFT" 
Takeoff when clear and enter the flight pattern
Check that the Trainer Transmitter is in trim
Fly the flight plan until ready to land
The Instructor should Announce to the Flight Line 
"INSTRUCTOR LANDING LEFT TO RIGHT"  /  "INSTRUCTOR LANDING RIGHT TO LEFT"  
or if the student will be landing the aircraft 
The Instructor should Announce to the Flight Line 
"STUDENT LANDING LEFT TO RIGHT"  /  "STUDENT LANDING RIGHT TO LEFT" 
After landing, The Instructor should announce to the Flight Line "INSTRUCTOR TAXI BACK" 
or if the student will taxi the aircraft back the student should announce "STUDENT TAXI BACK" 
Remove battery from the aircraft and Turn OFF the transmitter
Discuss the flight and record notes under "Flight Debriefing"
